List of Plant Horror movies
1. The Crawlers,1990
Authorities can't determine exactly what killed a woman…The answer might even surprise you! While walking through the jungle, two friends Matt and Josie come across a corpse. Transforming plants into murderous organisms it becomes clear that the plant's practices have contaminated the trees.
2. Man thing, 2005

3. Invasion of the body snatchers, 1978
A small-town doctor learns that the population of his community is being replaced by dispassionate alien dupes or as they call it, the Pod people or the body snatchers. 4. The Ruins 2008
Enough of plants now we have something to creep you out!
The Predatory Vines are the main antagonists in the 2008 movie The Ruins, sounds familiar? A mysterious species of creeping vine originating from Mexico, growing on an isolated temple.
This movie is based on the book of the same name. From time to time, as the story unfolds someone discovers the temple only to fall prey to the carnivorous vine. Not only this, the Vines have a voice, voiced by Karen Strassman.
5. Journey to the Center of the Earth, 1959
The carnivorous plants are the tertiary antagonists in Journey to the Center of the Earth. Journey to the Center of the Earth is a classic! Also called Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth, is an American science fiction.
They were large, venus flytrap-like plants which could eat a man's head
6. The Happening 2000
Confused speech, loss of coordination, and finally, suicide! Earth's plant life starts to develop a deadly neurotoxin that is deadly to humans. As shown, the person affected by the neurotoxin will begin to either stop what they were doing before and stand motionless, or repeat a line they were saying earlier until they stop talking. The affected individual will then commit suicide using anything lying around them. The motive is clear: mass murder, so is the driver: plants.
7. Swamp Thing, 1982
The movie has a shambling element, a creature connected to the Green in the DC Universe. Intrigued?
Thought to be the mutated form of scientist Alec Holland, it was later revealed (by Dr. Woodrue from earlier) that Swamp Thing is actually a sentient mass of plant matter.
Swamp Thing is immensely powerful and the upper limits of his strength have yet to be established, he once regenerated himself out of tobacco. On a happy and heroic note, watch Swamp Thing, Swamp Thing is the official protector of both plants and (when deserved) humans.
